Introduction:
London Metropolitan University (LMU), located in London, England, was formed on 1st August 2002 by the amalgamation of the University of North London (est.1896) and the London Guildhall University (est.1848). The University has campuses in the City of London and in the London Borough of Islington. The change of name of the merged University was approved by the Privy Council. The University operates its own archives, libraries and museum. London Metropolitan University is one of the foremost providers of undergraduate, postgraduate, professional and vocational education and training in Britain. The courses are planned in consultation with employers and examining bodies in commerce, industry, the world of art and design, the financial services industries and other professions. Admission:
All applicants for undergraduate courses are required to apply through the Universities and Colleges Admission Service UCAS. This means they have to complete a special UCAS application form in order to secure a place at London Metropolitan University. Once the forms are submitted students should also send in their relevant academic documents as per the requirements.

For postgraduate degrees students can apply direct to the International Office for a place. Each application is considered on an individual basis and relevant work experience is taken into account for many courses. Once the application is submitted online students should prepare the packets of documents as per the University checklist and send it to the University for further process.

Cost:

Undergraduate: £8,500 to £11,000 (approx per year)

Postgraduate: £9,000 to £14,200 (approx per year)
